When taken to the hospital, the doctors and nurses refuse to touch him, because Christians are considered ‘unclean.’ The latest word is that fellow prisoners threaten to suffocate him while he sleeps. The objective is to persuade him to recant his faith in Christ. He consistently refuses, continuing to testify to Christ despite brutal abuse. Christ promises: “If you conquer, I will make you a pillar in the temple of my God.” (Revelation 3:12)
